[Appointment of Chairman] Message from Natsumi Higa

My name is Natsumi Higa and I am the President of the International Association for Integrative Rehabilitation.

I am very honoured to have been given this position.
I look forward to working with you in the future.

What I would like to enhance in the running of the association is exactly what the
philosophy says: "The search for dreams, the search for learning".

Dreams can take many forms, depending on each person's background.

To someone else, it might seem like "is that a dream? To others, it may be a dream.
It's a dream if you truly believe in it.

It is not for us to decide, but to explore together what the person has.
This is the same for our patients and clients.

IAIRS ARE THERE TO HELP YOU IN YOUR QUEST.

And learning is not just about medicine, it includes the truth of things.

An insatiable quest for the unknowable in medicine. We are committed to providing
based on the latest science.

And what the IAIR sends out is not something that sounds nice, but something with
truth.

Medicine is of course important, but as the saying goes, "Medicine is humanity".
Our aim is to continue to explore not only medicine, but also other disciplines (truths).

Specifically, in the stage of "illness" of "life, sickness, old age and death",
medicine is for people, but we believe that it is also for the betterment of "the person", not only in the body but also in
"the mind". We believe that it is a way to improve not only the body but also the mind.

As such, the content of the offer is not imposed by the "medical profession" but is based on
"informed decision-making".

In order to do this, they need to have knowledge, experience and skills, as well as being aware of
their own scope of practice.
This also facilitates collaboration with other professions, the use of social resources and with families.

By knowing what you can do, what their needs are and what the people around you can do,
we can finally provide the health and care services you and your family want.

With this in mind, IAIR will continue to provide a place where
people can learn "everything" they need to know in order
to provide "the medical and nursing services that you and your family want". The IAIR will provide a place where

And we will publish information about it.

In addition to the traditional face-to-face format, we will also be using online and other tools to further enhance the
'clinical and academic learning space'.

The people who come to IAIR are
challengers who are ready to take on the turbulent world of the future on their own.

We want to create a stage where these challengers can give their all for the benefit of all people and things, not to mention healthcare.
We want to take responsibility for creating such a stage and continue to challenge ourselves together.

Achieving these things is not an easy path.
But there are three words I like to use to help make it happen.

Imagining and creating the future.

'If you want to see it quickly, you can go alone.
But if you want a great view, go with the others.

"The heavens help those who help themselves.

However, for me, work is one of the places where I can grow
and achieve self-fulfillment, depending on the choices I make. I believe that work is a place of self-realisation.

We want our therapists to enjoy and love their job.

"Fun" doesn't just mean entertaining.
It's fun and interesting because it's fulfilling to work hard.

"I can say with pride that I like my job because it helps me to grow, even if it is difficult, and I can work on it with
pride.

I WANT TO CREATE AN ASSOCIATION WHERE WE CAN SHARE OUR DREAMS TOGETHER WITH EVERYONE INVOLVED IN IAIR.

I can't see this amazing view by myself. I can only see it with you, the people who imagine, create and ride with me.

To this end, we will continue to strive to imagine, face
responsibly, and realise a better future for the Association and for all the people, things, and societies involved.

We would like to thank you for your continued support and encouragement.

WHAT IS AN IAIR?

Based on the knowledge of medicine and its practical application,
accompanies all living beings throughout their lives: life, illness, old age and death.

IAIR PHILOSOPHY

The quest for dreams, the quest for learning

[IAIR'S VISION

THE IAIR WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE "PURSUIT OF DREAMS AND THE EXPLORATION OF LEARNING" OF THOSE INVOLVED IN IAIR.

What you need to "explore your dreams, explore your studies": to know yourself, to know society, to integrate.

[IAIR'S MISSION

Sharing of 'touch' and 'no touch' techniques in clinical practice.

Share how to use the skills you have learnt to 'see people'.

"Through "seeing others", we learn about ourselves and society.

To create a place where students can practice "the search for dreams, the search for learning".

Integrating information across disciplines.

It is a way of disseminating information that transcends physical limitations.

[IAIR'S VALUE

You will be able to grow as a rehabilitation professional and enjoy the changes that come with it.

By learning and practicing the knowledge and skills to "see people", we can contribute to the physical and mental health of society at large.
